Non-Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors (NNRTI)
Expanded Access means that the medication is in the final stages of approval by the FDA and is available to those failing on current medications. Your doctor or case manager can contact the company and enroll you it the Expanded Access Program. Expanded Access Programs stop taking new patients when medications are approved; however, they may be available through Patient Assistance Programs, once approved, for those who cannot afford the medication, do not have insurance and cannot qualify for other assistance programs.
